Privacy Policy

BibleEvents.org is a ministry of End-Time Hope Ministries (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through BibleEvents.org, including seminar registration, the free replay page, and the free online Bible School, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have. By using BibleEvents.org you agree to the practices described here.

Information you give us

Seminar registration and replay sign-in. Your name, email address and/or mobile phone number, the seminar you are interested in, how you heard about us, and anything you choose to type into a form.

Bible School account. Your name, mobile phone and/or email, a 4-digit PIN you choose, your age range, how you heard about us, your spiritual background, and (optionally) a mailing address for your certificate and Bible gift. If you are under 18, we also record that a parent or guardian gave permission.

Your Bible School activity. The lessons you start and finish and the dates, your answers to lesson questions (including your answers to the personal “decision” questions at the end of lessons), your quiz scores, which meeting videos you have marked as watched, and any comments your teacher writes for you.

Notes, messages and requests. If you use “My notes,” we store the notes you write and the questions you star so you can see them on any device. Your notes are private: they are visible only to you, not to your teacher. If you use “Ask a question,” “Messages,” or the “Your next step” buttons (for example, to ask for prayer or to learn about baptism), we store what you send and your teacher’s replies so your teacher can answer you. Announcements your teacher posts are shown to all students.

Messages. Texts, emails or calls you exchange with our ministry team.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our site and service providers automatically receive basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and the date and time of your visit. We use tools such as Google Analytics and advertising measurement tags (for example, Google Ads) to understand how people find and use the site and to measure our outreach. These tools may use cookies or similar technology. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can learn about Google’s practices and opt out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

To keep you signed in, the Bible School and replay page store a small sign-in key, your name and your email or phone in your browser’s local storage on your own device. Signing out removes it. Your display choices (text size and dark mode), whether you have seen the welcome tour, and which announcements you have closed are also kept only in your browser on your device. The “Listen” button uses your own device’s built-in voice; the text is not sent to us.

How we use your information

To register you for seminars, open the replays, and run your Bible School account, lessons, progress, quizzes and certificate.
To contact you about the Bible School and our seminars by text message, email, phone or mail: for example, to confirm your sign-up, help with your PIN, tell you when a new lesson opens, congratulate you on finishing a lesson, answer your questions, or offer personal Bible study.
To mail or hand you your certificate and Bible gift.
So your teacher can follow your progress, read your answers (including decision questions), and offer personal encouragement and follow-up.
To improve our lessons, website and outreach, and to keep the site secure.

Text messages

If you give us a mobile number, you agree that our ministry team may text you about the Bible School and our seminars. Texts may come from a ministry phone number or from the personal mobile number of your teacher or seminar speaker. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP or by telling us you no longer want them, and you can reply HELP or contact us for help. Giving a phone number is never required to use the Bible School; an email address works too. We do not sell or share your mobile number with anyone for their own marketing.

Religious and personal information

Your spiritual background and your answers to lesson and decision questions are personal. We use them only to serve you in your Bible study and to offer spiritual care and follow-up. They are visible only to our ministry team (your teacher, the seminar speaker, and the local ministry team helping with the seminar), and we never sell them or publish them.

Who can see your information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:

With our ministry team and the local ministry team hosting the seminar you registered for, so they can welcome you and follow up with you.
With service providers who help us run the site, only as needed to provide their service to us and under a duty to keep it confidential. These include our website host, our secure database provider (Supabase), email and texting tools, YouTube (for videos), and analytics and advertising measurement providers. When you open a Bible chapter in a lesson, only the Bible reference (such as “John 3”) is sent to a Bible text service, never your personal information.
If the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our users, our ministry, or the public.

Children

Our seminars and Bible School are designed for adults and families. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s permission to enroll, and children under 13 should enroll only with a parent or guardian, who may use the parent’s own phone or email for the account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 without a parent’s consent. A parent or guardian may contact us at any time to review, correct or delete a child’s information, and we will do so promptly.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and progress while you are studying with us and for a reasonable time afterward so you can come back and pick up where you left off and so we can send your certificate. You can ask us to delete your account and information at any time, and we will do so except for anything we must keep by law.

Your choices

View and update your name, email and mailing address anytime under “My info” in the Bible School.
Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it.
Stop texts by replying STOP, and stop emails with the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
Block or delete cookies in your browser.

Wherever the law in your state or country gives you additional privacy rights, we will honor them. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Security

Your information is stored on secure servers and sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Your PIN is stored in scrambled (hashed) form, so not even our team can read it; we can only reset it. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your PIN private and let us know right away if you think someone else has used your account.

Other websites

Our site links to other sites, such as YouTube, Amazing Facts, and Bible reference sites. Their own privacy policies apply there, and we are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our ministry and tools change. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.
